How to Style a White Long Summer Dress Fashionably

Today’s post is about how to style a white long summer dress fashionably. I used not to wear a long dress, but as I got more comfortable and beat the hot weather, I found long dresses quite handy for summer. Mainly, they won’t stick to the skin so closely, therefore, giving us breathing room and long dresses can be very fashionable.

I particularly like white during the summer to try to beat the heat. As you may know, white can reflect the sun and, therefore, absorb less sunlight to keep us cooler than other colors.

There are many white dresses on sale nowadays. Here are some that I think you should consider.

How to Accessorize

In terms of accessorizing, I think either a pearl necklace, a pearl chocker, or something with blue, like blue earrings and bead necklaces.

Of course, you can also add a hat. Either a straw bucket hat or a colorful bucket hat can add some color to the white.

Shoes

I recommend shoe choice depending on what you are going to do. Are you going to the farmer’s market during the weekend, or are you going for a casual meal? Are you planning to stroll the beach or go on a city walk to go shopping?

If you are doing something casual, I recommend foot flippers or simple flats. You may even wear walking shoes. However, if you are attending a meal or plan to wear it for date night, I will say to put on sandals that are comfortable yet fashionable.

Handbag

In terms of handbags, I am into crossed bags these days, especially small bucket crossed bags. In a small crossed bucket bag, you can take a strip off and use the bag itself as a clutch. There are many bags, from high-end designer bags to reasonably priced bags.
