Accessories Are Girls Best Friends…
Accessories are girls’ best friends. Some of my favorite accessories are hats, scarfs, flower pins and as you may have noticed from my Instagram pearl chokers – I can never have enough of them.
Sometimes I feel I must have been a cat in my previous life; I just feel naked if I don’t have something on my neck 🤣😂
Because I am a little bit smaller size, I don’t use belts as much. Mainly, I don’t want to disadvantage my height by distracting with a belt. Also, finding a good belt is not that easy if you are not prepared to spend a decent amount of money. However, on some occasions, I do use a belt. The belt can give me emphasis, and if I wear a big baggy dress, a belt can help me to proportion my outfit.
Usually, I use a colorful pin to pop up to give an emphasis on my dress that tends to be all one color. I do wear from time to time colorful outfits but with caution. I also stay out of big pattern styled outfits. I feel I look overwhelmed with big pattern styled outfits.
My flowers pins are not that expensive. I bought from Nordstrom rack and paid from anywhere $7 to $30. My pearl chokers I usually design myself and have them made. I started doing that because I don’t seem to find any good pearl chokers any more. A few I have I bought in antique stores (several locations and I don’t think they even exist anymore) and I paid all under $50. Accessories are girls’ best friends because with accessories I can instantly update my wardrobes.
