As you can imagine, I think 90% of my outfits are black. I have been transitioning to wearing more colorful outfits from time to time, but I seem to get back to basic black.

Black is safe to bet to wear in a professional environment
It also easy to coordinate with other colors

1. With a Crop Top

I wear a lot of shrugs or boleros between seasons to keep me warm. However, in the summer, I wear crop tops, scarves, or blouses over a sleeveless dress if I don’t want to wear a jacket. Of course, I am talking about office environment outfits when I say.

One way to wear it is to wear a cropped top over it. I think it is effortless to update the wardrobe and less revealing for the office.

2. With a Sequin Top

Another simple way to create a black slip dress is to wear a sequin top over it. A simple sequin blouse, top, or even a sequin jacket will do it. I think wearing sequin these days at work, as long as it doesn’t go overboard, is perfectly fine.
