Cropped sweater for upgrade my old outfits for fall seems working. I recently purchased a creamy cropped sweater from Alice and Olivia on sale. The sweater is going to be big this coming fall. Even though the fall starts September 22, even before Labor Day is over, all fashion magazines are talking about fall fashion. And one of the items is a sweater.
Here is the way I am going to use the cropped sweater to upgrade my old outfit.
1. wear cropped sweater with my old ruffled skirt
All of us may already have a tiered skirt or a ruffled skirt. I believe it is still in fashion. We may have been wearing it for years now. This particular ruffled skirt and sweater work because the sweater sits right on my waistline. Sometimes, a ruffled or tiered skirt makes us look a little bulkier than what we are unless we can wear a belt or we wear a very fitted top and skirt over it.
I pair with the same natural color boot because I want to create a monochromatic look. However, if I want to, I can carry a bright handbag to draw attention. This is one way I am updating my old ruffled skirt with a cropped sweater.
2. wear cropped sweater over with my old evening dress
I also can wear a sweater over my evening summer outfit. The black dress showing at the top I can wear in the evening out, or if I wear at work, I always wear something on the top to cover the skin. This black dress is also ruffled in the bottom. I can wear a black belt, or I can do it without it. A cropped sweater is versatile. Of course, you can also wear it with a ruffled tank top and jeans, or skirts.
3. Wear with a straight A-line skirt
