How I dressed during my wonderful Alaska cruise

How I dressed during my wonderful Alaska cruise is today’s topic. I recently took a seven-day Alaska cruise, which was quite eye-opening. Since I am in California, I am not accustomed to the cold weather or to the lifestyle. Nonetheless, I have to say it was an incredible experience.

Arrival

landed at the Seattle airport

The actual cruise was seven days long and started in Seattle. I flew from Los Angeles to Seattle early in the morning and stayed for a day. While in Seattle, I took a city bus tour and visited the Space Needle.

Seattle weather was beautiful and I thought a bus tour was a great way to see and learn the city. After a tour, we went to a nearby restaurant and the day was over. The next day, we all left early to go to Space Needle as we had to check in at the pier for our cruise by 1 p.m.

Sailing started at 5 p.m. I spent time exploring the ship and my cabin. The weather wasn’t cold yet, and it was pleasant. The first stop was Juneau, where we arrived last afternoon. The weather changed as soon as we entered the Alaska Sea, and I had to get into the sweater. Soon after, I went to Whale Watching. Surprisingly, all of us who took a tour had good luck watching Whales, and I was able to get videos. Here is what I wore when I arrived in Alaska.

How I Dressed During

I packed boots, a foot flipper, sweaters, and three pairs of jeans for the trip, including what I wore air travel. I also packed pink kitten-heel shoes decorated with pearls just in case I wanted to dress up a bit. Whenever I travel, my main goal is to see and enjoy, so I rarely pack fancy clothes, mainly casual. So all the clothes I packed were casual, as you can see from my pictures.

On the way back to Seattle, we had an opportunity to visit Victoria, Canada. It was late at night, and I wasn’t sure I could enjoy it, but it was a beautiful experience, and the city hall was decorated with lights that stood out in the night.

Back to Seattle

When I arrived back in Seattle, the weather was quite lovely, so I had to change into a T-shirt, and I was able to enjoy the pier and seafood. Here are some pictures.

Conclusion

Due to a flight delay, I arrived in LA later than expected. The Alaska cruise was beautiful. If I had to visit again, this time, I would like to do it on a road trip so that I can see more in my time frame. However, the cruise has its advantages. It’s cost-effective and allows you to see what you like quickly.
