How Is The Micro-influencer Spending Time At The Beach
How is the micro-influencer spending time at the beach is inspired by my recent visit to El Matador Beach? Sure, I did enjoy the beach a little bit. However, I spent most of my time taking pictures and waiting for the sun to show up to take a better picture.
But first, let me tell you a bit about me. I am a lifestyle and fashion blogger micro-influencer located in Los Angeles, CA, and try to grow my Instagram and blog. It has been a journey, and especially I still have a full-time job that I still spend most of my time. Unlike most bloggers, who start the blog first and venture out to the social media platform, I started my Instagram first about 3 years ago and started posting the blog regularly last June.
Here is more About Me.

Preparation for outings
Once I decide to go to the beach to take pictures, I need to research what beach to visit. Upon selecting it, the next thing is deciding what to wear and what to bring. After that, I research to find a parking place and what’s nearby to prepare better.
Find a Place to Set up at the Beach
Upon arriving at El Matador Beach, the first thing I had to do was find a place to situate. The place where I can put something down quickly, walk toward the beach easily, and change clothes without many people around. El Matador Beach is one of Malibu’s beaches yet, less crowded and has many beautiful rocks.
Selecting the place to take pictures
Once set up a place, the next thing is to walk through the beach to find where to take pictures and check out the surroundings. The best time to take photographs is usually about 2 hours of sunrise or sunset, and because I don’t have a fancy camera, it’s essential. Sometimes, using the application to control lights helps.

Taking pictures
Once figure out the places, the next thing is taking pictures. Taking pictures is not natural for me, so I try to take as many images as possible and hope I can use some of them. As an influencer, it is important to have many ready shots that can use to create content. Also, the other is to change the clothes between photo shoots. With that, I can create additional photos that look like I shoot on different days.
Of course, work doesn’t end just visiting the beach and taking photos. After, behind scene work starts to be put together pictures and edit and write.
Micro-Influencer Beach Day Conclusion
As an influencer, the goal is to influence potential buys to buy the products or ideas represented by the influencer. So, in a nutshell, it is to have someone take action based on what the influencer recommends. However, I don’t believe you can be an influencer right away unless you are already a well-known person.
For an ordinary person like me, it takes time to build community and build trust and since my goal is to represent and create my voice as a person like you. It also requires a great deal of patience and time to create content. I spent the majority of my weekend taking photos, creating content for my Instagram so that I would have a week of posting.
So this outing to El Matador Beach is not a luxury visit to just enjoy the sun and relax. It’s work and combining with some joy. I am sure most of the micor-influencers can’t afford to hire professionals yet, so we all end up doing most of everything ourselves.
So my visit to the beach as the micro-influencer is a working day, but the beauty of it, that I am enjoying the day on the beach, listen to the ocean waves and like anybody else will do, taking pictures but putting more effort to get the better pictures that I can share to the people whoever visiting my Instagram.
If you haven’t been to El Matador Beach, I highly recommend visiting.
