It’s a question that everybody’s mind how to create a romantic Valentine’s Day under the pandemic since we have limited availabilities to do things. We had a high hope that we are able to do this year. However, more likely, we may not be able to do as many activities outside as we hope. On top of that, there won’t be many Valentine’s Day events that we can attend easily. Therefore, this year’s Valentine’s Day, we may have to put on our creative thinking hat had come up with something. Put a thinking hat and come up with ways to create a romantic Valentine’s Day. Be mine!!! So that this year’s Valentine’s Day can last for a long time as memorable and romantic. Something to talk about as years pass by.
History of Valentine’s Day
First, let’s explore how Valentine’s Day started. History of Valentine’s Day Valentine’s Day also called St. Valentine’s Day, is an annual festival to celebrate romantic lovers, friendship, and admiration. Every year on 14 February, people celebrate this day by sending messages of love and affection to partners, family, and friends. Couples send Valentine’s Day cards and flowers and spend special time together to honor their love for each other.
Even though we are under a pandemic and certain activities might be limited, I am sure we are all excited about celebrating. And maybe this year, Valentine’s Day, you can do something unique, in terms of things we don’t normally do, and make this day memorable.
4 Ways to Create a Romantic Valentine’s Day
1. Romantic Bonding over Cooking
One of the ideas to create a romantic Valentine’s Day is cooking together. Since most of us have been staying home, more of us are cooking. I can tell you this from my point of view, haha, I am cooking. So if you are planning to spend the evening together, cooking together will be one thing you can do, instead of hassle to find a patio dining that can create stress since maybe not enough restaurants can accommodate enough customers. On top of that, you may not be able to enjoy it due to time constraints.
And since cooking is a creative thing to do, preparing together and cooking together can bring a bond time and determine the person you didn’t know about. However, if one of you is an excellent cook, the person can cook, and the other can help, thus creating memorable and laughable events.

2. Scenery Driving to Create A Romantic Valentine’s Day
Even though we may not attend Valentine’s Day event due to limited accessibility, another thing can do, especially in California, is a scenery driving through. If you have a convertible car, it will make you feel free as you drive open space. If you want to treat your significant other, you could rent a convertible car and drive along the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). And stopping by near the beach area and enjoying the ocean wave and walking on the sand will make your day.
If you feel adventurous, you can bring a picnic basket along and find a good spot to spend some time together. Especially if you plan to drive through the Laguna Niguel area, you can even stop by Ritz-Carlton to enjoy the beach.
3. Romantic Movie Watch Valentine’s Day
Another way to create a romantic Valentine’s Day that doesn’t require lots of money will be making a romantic movie watching Valentine’s Day. If you are worried about going out due to the pandemic and rather want to stay home, this will be the easiest thing you can do at home. This will be a day you create a romantic, relaxing, lazy Valentine’s Day. Have champagne ready! Here are some of my favorite romantic movies.

Another activity can together by creating a vision board. This will be interesting and getting to know the person more on a deeper and personal level. Most time, we are either going out doing something not really having time to get to know them. Creating a vision board together will be the time to get to know the person in depth. Moreover, you will know his/her dream, what’s important, and what values he/she had. This will give you a deep bond, and your relationship can take you to the next level or not. Either way, it will be a win-win situation and create a romantic Valentine’s Day you can keep in memory. On top of that, really thinking time to plan your goal and spend the year 2021 and beyond.

Creating Romantic Valentine’s Day Conclusion
So here it is my suggestions for 4 ways to create romantic Valentine’s Day under the pandemic. If you don’t have a Valentine, that doesn’t mean you don’t have to celebrate. You can still. That’s why Galentine’s Day exists. You can still celebrate with friends or even yourself. Be you! That’s what counts. If you have someone special, that’s great. But if you don’t, that doesn’t mean you can’t find happiness and can’t celebrate. Happiness comes within, and celebration makes you happy.
So, try cooking, driving through open space with a convertible, watching a romantic movie, and creating a vision board. Valentine’s Day will be much more meaningful because you do something other than just attending an event or going to a restaurant this year. To all, let’s celebrate Valentine’s Day!!
