How to dress accordingly in a Joyful holiday season

How to dress accordingly in a joyful holiday season is today’s topic. As we rapidly approach Christmas and New Year, there will be gatherings, and we all want to show our fashionable side. Believe it or not, we all have our style. However, some of us are more aware of it than others. In my opinion, we should wear what makes us happy and makes us look good. We will know when we look in the mirror.

I like the classic style. However, I don’t want to be too dull. Therefore, I try to create an elegant, classic chic look. So, in this post, I will focus on a few elegant chic styles that you can wear and don’t have to brick your budget.

How to Create an Elegant Chic Look

In my opinion, creating an elegant chic look is a combination of classic and a little bit of drama. Therefore, it has well-made, quality outfits that combine trends. Solid colors play a great deal in creating a classic look, unlike busy patterns. Of course, accessories can add to the role.

Day Time Office Party

As the holiday approaches, many will have either a luncheon or an evening after-work gathering to celebrate the season. And even though we will work, I think it may be a good idea to dress up a bit. If so, it’s more likely during working hours. I think a good, solid color suit or dress with a classic pattern will do it.

Here are two examples of dresses worn at work and holiday luncheons. One is a business suit. However, if you have a colorful suit, I would say wear it. The other one is a sheer top with a sleeveless dress over it. Here I decide to wear a black dress but with colorful shoes.

If you don’t spend money on a dress or suit and don’t have any colorful suits in your closet, I would say use darker colors but decorate with a bright scarf or a colorful accessory, such as flower pins.

Evening Time Office Party

In the evening, the office party will be more challenging, in my opinion. It’s in the evening, but you may not want to show too much skin. After all, you may have to keep the image of your work environment. However, you want to dress up. A sequin or lace dress will create a chic but elegant look. On top of that, sequins are so popular these days. You can actually get away with it, even if you wear it during the day, if you like.

The other one would be in a long dress but wear a jacket during the office, and will upgrade a bit for the evening by adding a fur bolero or long gloves, as shown below.
