How To Dress To Keep Cool In a Hot Weather And Not Freeze In The Office

My post’s topic is how to dress to keep cool in hot weather and not freeze in the office. As the summer approaches, some of you are already thinking of vacation and a place to visit. However, if you are a working woman like myself, summer can bring interesting challenges for our daily dressing.

The reason is the temperature of our surroundings can be dramatically different, which makes us difficult to dress. For instance, working women may dress chic and office ready even in a hot summer. On top of that, the outside and inside office temperatures can be drastically different due to the air condition. So how do you dress to stay cool outside and keep your sanity inside the office?

So when you want to keep yourself cool yet not freeze in the office, here are my suggestions for dressing.

Knowing Cool Colors

The first thing is the first. Knowing what color can keep you cooler is an excellent way to select summer outfits. The best colors for beating the heat wave are white, yellow, grey, and red. I know white and yellow are good colors to beat the heat, but I didn’t realize red belongs to them. So that’s a pleasant surprise. So you may arrange the outfits geared toward keeping cool.

I have many black outfits, so I am rethinking buying cool colors for summer outfits if I do any shopping for summer outfits.

Outfit Ideas

Here are a few ways to dress up in the hot weather and take it to the office.

  • Tank top with A-line skirt
  • Blouse with A-line skirt or pants
  • Simple Summer Dress
  • Wrap Dress
  • Summer Suits

Office Ready

Once you have ideas of what to wear for a day, for the office, carry a sweater, shawl, or summer jacket. Anything you can cover and look still professional. That’s all you need to keep you from air conditioning cold.

Conclusion

How to dress to keep cool in the summer and not freeze is knowing the color that keeps you cool outside and how to cover yourself inside the office to keep you warm enough.

So basic colors to focus on would be white, yellow, grey, and red. Be creative with wearing tank tops with pants and summer dresses, and always have something available to cover up inside the office when the air conditioning gets too much.
