In Hollywood’s good old days, movie stars knew how to wear classic outfits and made their own. Of course, designers helped them dress, too. We may not have a designer dress, but we can learn and incorporate it.

I first saw fashion icon Audrey Hepburn’s “Roman Holidays” when I started watching Hollywood’s Golden Era movies; I just fell in love with her. Soon after, I watched “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and “My Fair Lady,” she instantly became my fashion muse. I can understand why It’s easy for her to become a fashion icon. Her slim figure helped her wear clothes beautifully. On top of that, she knew what worked for her, and she wore simple and chic outfits.

The interesting thing about Fashion is that classic Fashion always lasts and seems to come back repeatedly. Well, first, let’s figure out what we will consider classic. Classic clothing style is all about Putting together without distracting one another. I presume to create a balance. You’re never too colorful or too accessorized. 1. Dress with one color or the same family color

You may have seen so many of Audrey Hepburn’s movies or pictures taken by others; she stayed with one color or close family color zone. That blended nicely and created balance and harmony.

It is still very much in fashion, and most wedding dresses are strapless. However, wearing long clothing nowadays is impractical unless you attend a formal event.

Wearing a strand of pearls was a sign of wealth and power for so long. As in many classic movies, as well as many of Audrey Hepburn’s movies, you will see her wearing pearl necklaces. It could be a simple single string and wear multi-strings of pearls, and it’s very classic. In modern years, pearls evolved, and now you can get colored pearls as well. A Pearl necklace is classic, and you can wear pearl necklaces almost every day and every time, whether attending events or in everyday life. It is just something to make you feel happier and pretty.

Audrey Hepburn wore a multi-string pearl necklace in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and “My Fairlady.” It worked beautifully because she wore a simple black dress in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and a simple white dress in My Fairlady. You can wear pearl necklaces when you wear a simple dress or simple outfit. Even multi-strings don’t seem overwhelming, but they bring up your features beautifully.

You may think wearing a multi-string pearl necklace may be too much, but it works. However, if unsure, you can put your hair up and create a hair updo. It will make you look elegant because your neck has no distractions. Of course, it also emphasizes your pearl necklace and makes you look elegant and beautiful.

5. Incorporate Fashion Icon Audrey Hepburn’s Hat and Scarf Style in Your Wardrobe

I love hats and wear them almost every chance I can. In my opinion, hats not only keep me warm in winter and stay cool in summer. Of course, hats make me look prettier than I am, at least, I think so. In so many movies of Audrey Hepburn, she wore hats. Here are a few of her hat pictures.

Hats can be a great tool because they can bring up your best feature if you know your face part and how to bring it up using a hat to cover or expose how much of your face. If you know what style works for you, that’s great. I suggest you stick to it and buy either a different material or pattern to create a distinct look. If you don’t, try several hats and find one suitable. Universally, bucket or beanie hats work for almost everybody.

Another simple accessory Audrey Hepburn used well is a scarf. The scarf is very versatile and can use in many ways. You can even wear it as a hair accessory. In the 1963 movie Charade, Audrey Hepburn wore simple coats, hats, and scarves with gloves. What made her style, so classic was that it was all effortless. You can still incorporate the coats to stay simple and design that can last for a long time and not district with so many patterns.
