How to Wear a Black Sweater in 3 Ways

How to wear a black sweater in 3 ways is today’s post. I recently purchased a black cashmere puff-sleeved sweater on sale at Bloomingdale’s. So I want to share how I will wear it in three ways.

Black is one of my favorite outfits. For some reason, I always ended up buying blacks more than any. However, I don’t mind at all. Black is classic and powerful and creates a mysterious look. Not to mention, it’s very elegant and even inexpensive black outfits look expensive with the right accessories. So here it is.

Black sweater in three ways

1. To wear with ruffled skirt

The first way to wear it is with a ruffled or tiered skirt. I am sure many of you already have them. It’s been a fashion for some time now, so I got to believe you all have them. You can either put the sweater in or out with the skirt. I am wearing a sweater out here, and it makes me almost like a dress.

2. To wear strip decorated skirt

The second way to wear it is with a decorated skirt. I have this strip sparking decorated the skirt on both sides of the skirt. This works well during a holiday outfit, I think. You don’t want to be too party-like, yet, it gives a happy jolly mood that is appropriate during the holiday season.

3. To wear with colorful shorts

Another way to wear it is with colorful shorts. This is not boring. It is pretty refreshing and a bit funky with suitable texture shorts. Of course, I won’t wear to go to work. However, casual dinner gatherings or weekend outings will be fine. It’s fashionable yet doesn’t feel that you put so much effort into dressing up.

Conclusion

So here it is. You can create three looks with one same black sweater. I haven’t talked about accessories in this post. But of course, accessories can lighten up when you wear all black, such as in this example of first and second, so you can play with them.

My goal is that you don’t need to keep buying outfits, but rather to help you to use whatever you already own or if buy one item that can go with what you already have.
