My top summer outfits I love for work now. I work in a conservative field; therefore, my work clothes have to reflect that. Initially, when I started working, I used to wear suits all the time, however, these days fashion there is hardly anyone who seems to wear suits. And of course, I changed also. On top of that, I am a weird size; neither petite or regular size🤣🤣. I still wear suits but not every day, and depending on my work schedule, I wear lots more casual these days.
The challenge during the summer in the office happens air conditioning when we share the control. It’s hot out. However, in the office, it can get cold, and often I end up freezing. Therefore, I usually end up carrying a shawl or sweater.
Theory suit with a belt
The theory is one of the brands I like, especially when it comes to suits. I altered pants. Original pants were a flare legged and this year I altered to slim legged. It just hit above my ankle. Sometimes I also wear a belt to create a more modern slim look. I wear this type of suits when I have an important client meeting. I guess a little bit of power play goes with it.
This is another Theory suit I wear with a belt. I can with a belt or without a belt. However, I feel adding a belt gives more feminine look. I do wear skirts and dress a lot. Some reason this year, I noticed I have been wearing more pants. I think it’s something got to do with pandemic.
Casual workwear with comfortable pants

This particular white pants is very comfortable so I just switch tops. Or I also wear yellow pants with blouse. Sometime, I wear with a yellow blouse to create monochromatic look.
These are the top summer outfits I love for work now. During pandemic period, I notice I dress a lot more casual than formal. If you like some of the styles, go through your closet and try. The key is not that we need to buy clothes every time, but buy quality clothes that can last. And if we happen to buy a classic piece, we can always wear it by adding trendy pieces or jewelry.
