This Year’s Hot Summer Fashion Trend Color Now

This year’s hot summer fashion trend color now is all about bright and upbeat colors. Now, we seem to be going back to normal, and fashion color seems to reflect that. For instance, when I dropped by the department stores, many displayed full colors, I mean very bright colors. So as you can imagine, I am obviously going to talk about bright color as the 2021 summer fashion trend color.

Before I start this year’s fashion trend color, let’s explore the meaning of colors. The dictionary defines color as the property possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the eye. So you see, depending on what color, it sends out different feelings in our eyes and creates a different emotional sensation.

For example, red draws attention like no other color. It radiates strong and powerful energy that motivates us to take action. Red is the color of passion and energy.  It is also linked to sexuality and stimulates deep and intimate passion.

Yellow is the color of sunshine. Yellow puts a smile on the dial. It is the most visible color from a distance which is why it’s used for street signs. And it communicates cheerfulness, friendliness, joy, and energy. Therefore, fashion uses color to reflect of mood that accompanies the style. So what’s in for this summer 2021 color?

Summer 2021 Fashion Trend Color

Marigold

One of this year’s hot summer colors is marigold. Here I am wearing a Self-Portrait marigold that I got about a year ago on sale and didn’t realize this color will be super hot this year. It’s very versatile. Of course, it’s bright and available in shades of orange, yellow, red, and gold. Actually, we might know marigold flower more, and marigold flower is easy to grow. Maybe we need to be easy on everything after the pandemic; that’s why this color is hot.

Red

Another bright color that is hot this summer is Red. As I said earlier, red is the most draw attention color. I think we are locked down so long; now we want to be out. We want to be seen. We want attention! That’s why red is hot fashion color for this summer.

This Year’s Fashion Color – Bright Orange

Here I am wearing one of California’s local fashion designers, Alice and Olivia skirt and top. Alice and Olivia’s brand contains lots of colors, prints, and flowers this year. I usually stay away from patterns; if I wear them, I am very selective because I tend to be smaller, but solid colors like this are always welcome.

Orange is also the color that is showing enthusiasm, and warmth. Orange is, like red, often use to draw attention.

Green

Another fashion color for this year is green. When I am talking about green, I am not talking about just green color, but all shadows of green, like bright apple green to mint, yellow-green, and jade. The green color represents balance and harmony. Of course, green is also the color of growth, renewal, and rebirth. How appropriate after coming out of the pandemic. I realize that I don’t have any green outfits. Maybe it’s time for me to get some.

Pink

Pink is another color that made the summer fashion color. Bright pink to pastel variation of pink is hot this summer. Pink claims love, kindness and femininity. Its girly color and some shades of pale pink are described as relaxing, and where else very bright, vibrant hues can be stimulating.

Blue

The color blue is calming color, and we seem to wear it a lot. Like many of us, one of my favorite wear is jeans. Baby blue represents peace as well as dark blue can be depth and power. And of course, Jeans never seem to go out of fashion whether it’s skinny jeans or wide-legged ones, it always stays with us. On top of that, if you are like me, jeans are the easiest way to dress up and down by simply putting on heels or fancy tops.

Fashion Color White

The last color I want to mention is white. During hot summer, the best way to stay cool is to wear white clothes. Therefore, it is no surprise that white color is hot fashion summer color. White color tells us its cleanliness, freshness, and simplicity. So if you want to stay clean and cool, wear white. Also, white represents a new beginning, a fresh start.

So here are this year’s hot summer fashion trend colors now. Of course, many bright colors made this year’s summer fashion color. When you go shopping or online shopping, you will see many bright colors popping out and for you to pick. So, this year’s summer fashion displays passion, a new start, positive energy, and a full of an optimistic attitude.

As we move into getting back to the stage, I believe our fashion will reflect that by the color or functionality of clothing. It will be more uncomplicated yet functional, creating a new start and optimistic and showing some luxury that we all crave.

This summer fashion is all about dress to show your personality. In case if you are not into bright colors, start with pastel hues and start gradually move into a bright color if you like to experiment. Enjoy summer and wear bright fashion colors.
