Maybe I haven’t paid attention, but I don’t recall seeing the cosmetic going on sales. So I felt I should stock some of the items I will be using even though, during the pandemic, I haven’t been wearing makeup that much. It’s hard to find eyeliners that go on our eye smoothly. When I tried Marc Jacobs about a year ago, I love it. It’s a little bit pricey than what I normally used to get, but it’s so worth it. This gel eye crayon goes on my eye very smoothly, and it’s waterproof. I like the other thing I don’t have to sharpen because it contains a built-in sharpener at its base. To use, pop out the black sharpener and twist the tip of eyeliner to sharpen. You can also sharpen eyeliner against a tissue to form a precise point. It comes with a shimmer, matte, satin finish. I use matte finish ones, and their color is very intense. I think blue eyeliner pop-up my eyes, making eyes look larger. So I tend to use lots of blue color eyeliners, like blue, navy, or wavelength.

Many of you know Marc Jacobs as an American fashion designer. He has his own fashion labels, Marc Jacobs. So when I saw his eyeliner lines, I thought, “well, every designer wants to venture out beauty care area to make more money too,” especially with his price. However, when I tried his items, I was like, “oh, not bad. I should try it.” That’s the way it started, and ever since, I have been using his eyeliners.

By the way, I am not great at doing makeup. So sometimes, I use Pinterest or google to find out how other people are doing, and I am sure many bloggers can show you. I encourage you to experiment to get the look, and I think it’s important to get the cosmetic work well to create the look you want.

Shiseido Sun protector Cream

It is a well-known factor that sun damages our skin even though the sun cheers up our mood and a good source of Vitamin D. It feels good to lounge in the sunshine, but it can hurt our health in the long run. Over the years, too much time outdoors can put us at risk for wrinkles, age spots, scaly patches called actinic keratosis, and skin cancer. I love the sun, but I use sunblock if I have to go out and stay in the sun for a long time.

I sue Shiseido sun protector cream – basically sunblock lotion- in a fancy name on my face. Shiseido has several sunblock creams, one for the body and the other for the face. I use some other brands I buy from CVS for my body, but for the face, I use Shiseido, so I decided to stock up so shopped beauty Insider Saving the day at Sephora to save some money.

I think it is a safe assumption that we are not wearing make-up as much as we used to during the pandemic. I sure have been wearing make-up that much, especially lipstick. We have to wear a mask. However, I still up eye make up. Even we wear a mask; the eye is not covered. When I saw this smoky eye makeup picture and want to try on but don’t want to buy a whole eye shadow palette. Very often, I usually use a few colors, so I prefer to buy a single individual shadow. I have the lightest beige to brown color shadows but not intense dark colors, so I purchased a black shadow from “Make Up For Ever.” This manufacturer allows you to create your own palette or buy the individual color you want.

If you want to create a natural glow and dewy look and Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter is a good one to try. Hollywood Flawless Filter is a customizable complexion booster that can be used as a primer, highlighter or mixed with your foundation to get a perfected dewy finish or glow. The color base is very sheer so that the shades can work on various skin tones as well. I use Cle De Peau Beaute UV protective emulsion very highlight for my base instead of primer, and sometimes I mix this with it to create to soften focus, illuminate skin. It seems to make lines and pores appear smoother.
