What I wore on a beautiful Saturday to the flower fields is in today’s post. It’s based on my recent trip to “the flower fields” in Carlsbad, CA. Many Instagram influencers are visiting to take pictures of the flower fields. And it is an excellent outing place for family. There is a kid ground where children can play, and many colorful flowers fill the area, and it’s incredible.

Compared to my visit to Sunflower field last year, I have to say I got more satisfaction visiting the flower fields. There are many things you can do. You can ride a tractor wagon and also there is a picnic area for those who want to spend more time relaxing.

I highly recommend that you buy the ticket online before you attend. Also, if you can’t make it on time, your ticket will still be honored; unlike online, it sounded like you should be on time. That’s one of the beauties of living in Los Angeles, as the traffic can change at any minute.

1. Skinny Jeans

I debated whether I should wear a maxi dress or simple jeans that I usually wear on a casual outing. However, I decided to go ahead with jeans. My favorite jeans are Abercrombie & Fitch. Of course, I have several of them, and I decided to wear skinny jeans because I know I would be walking a lot.

2. White Smocked Cropped Top

The top I decided to white smocked cropped top. I was thinking about whether pink or white, but I wore pink not long ago and there were many flowers in different colors, so I decided to go ahead with white. The next thing was whether I should wear a plain white T-shirt or something else. Finally, I decided to wear a white smocked cropped top, which was more fashionable these days.

3. What I Wore for Shoes – Espadrille Sandals

I decided to wear espadrille sandals when it came to shoes because I knew I would be walking quite a bit. I had this cute Betsey Johnson sandal painted on the back of the wedge, and comfortable to walk. In reality, I was thinking about whether I should wear flats or tennis shoes, but I wanted to take some pictures, so I decided to glam up with shoes. As you can see, my outfit is very casual.

4. White Hat

Of course, I am a hat lover, so naturally, I have to wear a hat. I have several straw hats, yet I decided to wear a white hat to match my white top. Recently I purchased it from Nordstrom Rack, and it was very affordable. Whenever I have a chance, I always try to wear a hat. Moreover, during California’s hot weather, it helps to keep us from the sun to protect the skin and help to not to dehydrate.

5. Coach Handbag

The coach handbag I was carrying was because I didn’t plan accordingly. It was a last-minute decision to visit the flower fields, and I took this bag. If I had planned accordingly, I might have carried a small cross handbag to have both hands. Of course, they are more colorful, like red cross bags or summer straw bags. Therefore, I tried to take pictures without my bags.

What I wore on the recent outing to the flower fields are:

When the next year comes, and I like to go again, I will likely wear a colorful maxi dress. When I visit a place for the first time, it gives me an idea of it, and I feel I can prepare better for the second visit.
