What will be the New Year 2021 fashion trend? Now that we survived 2020 and move into the new year 2021, the fashion outlook is very optimistic. I research google and fashion magazines, like Glamour, Instyle, and Vogue; however, I also like to share my thoughts. The reason being is that I feel most of the average working professionals like us won’t be able to wear what runaway models wear or what fashion magazines show as the trendy outfit. Unless we are creative media or entertainment field, chances are we won’t be wearing something showing in a fashion magazine. First, our budget won’ be able to afford it, and second, it is impractical for our daily lives. I feel classic style with a mix of trendy makes so much more sense.

2021 Fashion Color

2021 fashion color is all about optimism. We survived 2020 yet; it’s not over. So, of course, it seems to be so natural, fashion color reflects that. In 2020, fashion color was bright, red, orange, classic blue, aqua and teal and related color scheme. This 2020 fashion color will stay in 2021 with a little bit of variation. New Year Fashion Trend – Puff Sleeves

Puff Sleeves are going to be the strong new year 2021 fashion. In fact, I think puff sleeves have been in since 2018. I bought a black Alice and Olivia puff sleeve blacktop in 2019 on sale, and I still wear it. I have metallic gray puff sleeve top for 3 years and still wear it. In 2021 it may be a slight variation of puff sleeves, yet it is going to stay. If you go shopping at Nordstrom or Bloomingdale, you will see the display of puff sleeves everywhere. What’s good about puff sleeves, you can wear them with jeans and any slacks to dress down or wear sequin pants or skirts to dress up.

Fashion Trend – Comfortable Knit, Yoga or sweat pants

The new year 2021 fashion trend is all about comfort. Like the knit top, knit dress, or sweat pants that more fashionable. But also it can wear, not for exercise but as a regular outfit. Even yoga outfits that can be transferred to daily wear with a coat or sweater or guardian. I believe this is true. Until we know for sure, we can go back to normal what we used to do, we will still be spending an awful lot of time in the house, so why not “comfortable.” After all, fashion also reflects the current environment we live in, and we adjust our lifestyle accordingly.

Fashion Trend – Leather

In 2021, leather fashion is going to stay along with puff sleeves. I think the leather outfits are very fashionable and I can wear them all seasons.

This year, not only leather pants but also leather jumper will go strong. Leather pants can come with wide-legged, cuffed, or high-raised pants. Of course, shorts will be in as well. It’s no longer only black or tan. There will be lots of colors along with a puff-sleeved leather dress as well. As a person who loves leather outfits, I will still stay classic. It’s safe and traditional pieces I can always wear with adding a few accessories.

Fashion Trend -Feather

Feather trend will continue the 2021 New Year fashion trend, whether feather skirts or trim in the dress, pants, or sleeves. It is the new year. It’s all about the mood of spreading our wings and fly. We can wear feather skirts with a sweater, puff-sleeved top, or skin-tight top. The feather outfit will come in more colors this year.

Fashion Trend – Jeans

Jeans are always in fashion style. It never really goes out of style. Initially, blue jeans for manual labor workers, such as in the mines and on the railroad. Soon it became trendy to help with Hollywood and entertainers. The reason jeans are popular is that the more you wear, the more comfortable to wear. And along the way, its style evolved. Really with jeans, we can style up and down. And I believe the popularity of jeans will continue in the new year 2021 and stays as a fashion trend. 

Of course, there are many Jeans styles now – high-waisted, wide-legged, boyfriend, straight, bell-bottom on and on. I have several pairs of jeans, and I believe most of you are reading my blog should have several pairs of jeans. So I will say the 2021 fashion trend for jeans is to wear what you have and if you want something different, decorate the jeans you have to wear. It is also easy to decorate jeans with a little bit of help. Or buy one pair of jeans you don’t have to stay in the current fashion.

Conclusion

So the New Year 2021 fashion trend will be puff sleeves, comfortable wears, leather outfits, feather outfits, jeans, and other things. However, I will say wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident. Fashion trend is come and go, but the classic pieces last. Of course, your style never goes out of style. Whether wearing simple jeans with white T-shirts or Jeans with a structured jacket, or wearing a fancy sequin dress, it’s how we carry that’s what makes the fashion statement. Wear it with confidence, and that will be your fashion.
