Wonderful Fashion Blogger’s Collaboration Around the World
Wonderful fashion blogger’s collaboration around the world is today’s post, and I am thrilled to do with another fashion blogger Grace Orisakiya. She and I are both lifestyle and fashion bloggers. So in this post, she will be doing casual wear for the weekend, and I will be doing business wardrobes.
So let’s talk about how you decide what to wear each morning, especially for the office. Or you could be one of those people who plan for a work wardrobe a week in advance.
I organize my closet by colors, and each morning I put the outfit together depending on my schedule. So if I need to meet my clients, my outfits are more conservative. If I need to do a zoom presentation, I wear more colors. If I need to do, in the day to evening out, I more likely wear black outfits.

1. Client Meeting
For meeting a client, the impression I need to create is professionalism. Therefore, I will be more likely to stay in one colored outfit or suit. The brand I like for the suits is Theory. It’s classic, and the fabric is quality. And with quality, it comes with a cost as well. I usually wait until on sale. If I want to create a more feminine look, I put on a belt.
2. Zoom Presentation
My wardrobes tend to be bright colors for zoom presentation, at least on the top—red or yellow. If I wear a black or white top, I decorate with colorful accessories, like pink or red flower pins. I also wear red lipstick for zoom meetings. I think we are more and more zooming these days, but I feel it is not as effective as if we can see each other. So the key is to have the other party stay alert, and I think bright colors work.
3. Day to Night
Before the pandemic, this may have needed more effort. However, these days, it may not be as much work as it is. Still, I think when you go out for a night, whether a date night or a small gathering event, wearing a black dress is an easy way to transform to a night from a day. Mainly, wear it with a jacket at work and evening wear with a shawl, scarf, and accessories to create a glamorous look.

4. Every day in the office
I feel everyday office outfits should reflect the office culture. If you work in conservative, more likely you will wear a dress or suit. If you work in the creative field, you may have more freedom about what to wear. When I first started working, I wore suits almost every day. Because I was working male-dominated field and I had just finished college, I wanted to be taken seriously. However, now, I have been a professional working woman for a while, and especially during the pandemic, I have to say I got relaxed. Still, I will try to present myself every day when I go to the office.
So here is my part of the fashion blogger’s collaboration. And now I like to introduce Grace Orisakiya’s casual wear.
Wonderful Fashion blogger Collaboration – Causal Outfit by Grace Orisakiya
Hey guys, I’m Grace, a Business Psychologist, and lifestyle blogger. Today, I’ll be sharing my favorite weekend outfits but before I give you the juice, let me tell you a little back story about why I love these casual outfits.
I live in the UAE and to the disbelief of many, the UAE doesn’t experience heat all year long. One on hand, there is a season of extreme heat and on the other, the weather is quite favorable; it gets a little too cold if I may say (I am allergic to cold weather).
Anyhow, now that we are in the “winter”, I wear outfits that make me feel a little warm and free. Usually, during the weekends, I prefer staying indoors but when I need to be out, I visit the malls, beaches, parks and a few places tourist attractions, I mean it’s Dubai, you can’t keep up with what’s new in the UAE.
Now, let’s dive right into the info for today
1. Jackets & kimono, leggings and boots
This is my favorite outfit idea for a casual evening date with my partner or friends.
2. Dresses
I throw on a dress when I have no idea of the outfit to wear, also they are the best clothes for a busy day.
3. Sweatshirts, Jeans, and sneakers combo
This combo is my go-to outfit for leisurely walking around the mall or recreational parks.
4. Sweatshirts & sweatpants.
Ah, my favorite! When I want to chill in the house or take my son for a walk in the neighborhood, you’ll see me in a pair of sweatpants and sweatshirts. Also, it’s one of my favorite outfits for a weekend road trip.
5. T-shirts & Leggings
This is my go-to outfit for a simple photoshoot session or a BOTIM call ( sadly, other forms of internet calls are not allowed in the other UAE).
In conclusion, I don’t dress to please the social media “fashion police”, rather I dress according to my mood, the weather, and the occasion. In a way, that makes it easier to control my choices rather than go with the crowd.
Wonderful Fashion Blogger’s Collaboration Conclusion
This is my first-time wonderful fashion collaborating with another fashion blogger, Grace Orisakiya. Not to mention we are so far away. However, I think she and I have one thing in common: control what we wear to reflect our own being, not to be too much of a victim of fashion trends. She and I both value our own style and incorporate what makes us feel who we are.
I strongly feel fashion should reflect our mood, lifestyle, and character. Not that everybody is wearing, so we should wear mentality. Instead, develop our style that will last for a long time, and every time we wear it, it will shine through our being. Also, I think shopping smart is essential. Always look for value.
I try to post every Monday for my blog and my Instagram @fashionbykukanaana every day. So please check it out, and appreciate it if you follow as I am trying to grow my IG. I also post from time to time outfit ideas on liketoknow.it, so please check it out as well.
Tremendous thank you to Grace Orisakiya, who made this wonderful fashion blogger’s collaboration possible.
Happy holidays and follow us for more.
